    Why You'll Love This Recipe

Minimal Ingredients: Having only four ingredients plus a few spices, it is so easy to whip up in minutes and enjoy on your favorite salad, especially with creamy dill dressing for salad.

Fresh Dill: If you are an herb lover, the fresh dill in this creamy dill dressing for salad is truly the star here! It elevates the flavor and screams fresh and delicious.

    Ingredients You Will Need

Avocado Mayonnaise: Avocado oil mayonnaise offers a unique creamy texture and a healthier fat profile.

Lemon: Lemon juice adds a fresh, bright, and tangy element, which can help balance the richness of the other ingredients in creamy dill dressing for salad.

Dijon Mustard: Dijon mustard imparts a subtle tanginess and a vinegary note.

Fresh Dill: I prefer fresh dill for its herbaceous, herby, light and refreshing flavors. It is slightly sweet with elements of parsley, celery and anise.

Onion Powder: Adds a sweet and savory flavor to certain dishes that you can’t get from fresh onions.

Salt and Pepper: The flavor of a dish is enhanced, by salt, which elevates various flavor profiles, and by ground black pepper, which adds a gentle heat.

    Instructions

In a small bowl: Add mayonnaise, onion powder, salt and pepper.

Chop: Remove fronds from the stems, chop and add to bowl.

Juice the lemon: Remove any pits and your lemon juice to the bowl.

Whisk: Whisk all the ingredients well.

    Enjoy!

    Recipe Tips and Tricks

Keep fresh dill on hand: Fresh dill will last for several weeks in your refrigerator when wrapped in a wet paper towel and put in a zip lock bag or glass container. Making it ideal to keep on hand to make this creamy dill dressing for salad whenever you desire!

Refrigerate: For and even creamier and thicker dressing (or dip) allow prepared dressing to sit in the refrigerator for an hour or so before serving. Not necessary but it does get a little thicker which is why this makes the perfect dip for veggies.

    Recipe Variations

Other spices: Feel free to add a teaspoon of dried parsley, garlic powder and chives and boom, you have ranch dressing!

    Storage Tips

This Creamy Dill Dressing can be stored in the fridge for several weeks when placed in a sealed airtight glass container. If it lasts that long!
