Air Fried Spicy Mango Chicken

This recipe is Whole30, Paleo, Gluten, and Dairy Free.

This Spicy Mango Chicken made in the air fryer is to die for! Sweet mangoes combined with a few other ingredients for the most delicious sauce is a must try! Imagine a whole 3 pound chicken ready in less than an hour! This sauce is also perfect for chicken thighs on the grill! Give it a try and thank me later!


3 lb whole chicken, pat dry with paper towels. I like Greensbury Market
2 mangoes, peeled and cut in pieces
3 cloves garlic, peeled
1/3 cup coconut aminos
1 tbsp Korean chili flakes
4 tbsp rice vinegar
1 tbsp fresh ginger, cut in small pieces

Put all ingredients, except chicken, in a high speed blender till smooth

(it will be thick)

Reserve half of the sauce for dipping

Gently lift the chicken skin with your fingers (I wear gloves for this)

Rub marinade under the skin on both sides of the chicken

Rub marinade over outside of entire chicken

cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours

Spray air fryer basket with oil

Air fry 390 degrees for 45-50 minutes

flipping half way through

Around 40 minutes in check with

thermometer for 165 degrees at

thickest part
