Air Fryer Crispy Whole Chicken

This Air Fryer Crispy Whole Chicken will be the best chicken you ever ate! Who would have thought you could have tender, juicy chicken in less than an hour with the most delicious crispy skin flavored with herbs and spices. The leftovers, if you are lucky enough to have them make the best chicken salad! I have at least a dozen recipes for different flavored chicken salads!







INGREDIENTS
4-5 lbs Whole chicken, patted dry, I like Greensbury Market
6 Cloves garlic
1 tblsp Lime juice
1 tsp each Salt and pepper
2 tsp Smoked paprika
1 Tblsp Cumin
1 tsp Thyme
2 Tblsp Coconut aminos
3 Tblsp Olive oil

DIRECTIONS

Combine marinade ingredients in a blender till smooth (all ingredients but chicken)

Rub marinade all over chicken and under skin too

Cover and marinade in fridge 12-24 hours, the longer the better

Place in air fryer breast side down and cook 30 mins at 360 degrees

Flip chicken and cook 20 more minutes

Check temp with thermometer at thickest part- should ready 165 degrees

Let rest 15 minutes

Carve and serve
