Egg Roll In A Bowl

This recipe is Whole30, Paleo, Gluten, and Dairy Free.

Finally after all these years I created one of my favorites! Egg Roll in a Bowl made with lots of fresh cabbage and delicious ingredients that taste exactly like an egg roll without the fried outer shell. We love this recipe and I especially love the leftovers for breakfast with a fried egg on top! Don’t be afraid to try it. I also use my Everything Sauce on top for that extra drizzle of spicy goodness! If you love egg rolls I cannot wait for you to try this one!




INGREDIENTS
1 lb ground pork, I like Greensbury Market
3 tbsp sesame oil
1/2 cup onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
5 green onions, sliced & reserve some green part for garnish
3 cups green cabbage, shredded
3 cups purple cabbage, shredded
1 cup carrots, grated or carrot sticks
1 tsp fresh ginger or 1/2 tsp dried ground ginger
1 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
1/4 cup coconut aminos
2 tbsp rice vinegar
2 tbsp sesame seeds for garnish

DIRECTIONS

Heat oil in large skillet
Add onion, garlic & green onion to pan & sauté till translucent
Add pork & cook till no longer pink
Add ginger, salt & pepper, stirring to combine
Add cabbage, carrots, coconut aminos & vinegar & cook till cabbage is tender
Garnish with green onions & sesame seeds
