Garlic & Ghee Steak Bites

Do you love steak? These Garlic & Ghee Steak Bites over Whipped Mashed Potatoes are truly heaven on a plate. Tender sirloin tips that melt in your mouth with mushrooms swimming in the most delicious garlicky and "buttery" sauce that will have them begging for more!








INGREDIENTS

1 lb sirloin tips, cut into bite size pieces, I like Greensbury Market
10 oz mushrooms, 1/4rd
8 large cloves garlic, minced
4 tbsp ghee, divided
1 tbsp coconut aminos
2 tbsp arrowroot powder
2 cups beef bone broth, I like Kettle & Fire
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper

DIRECTIONS

Melt half of the ghee in large pan
Add mushrooms & cook till browning
Move to a plate
Add remaining ghee, melt
Add steak, garlic, salt & pepper
Cooking 2 minutes per side & move to a plate
Add arrowroot to broth & whisk well
Add to pan & bring to a slow boil
Add coconut aminos, lower heat & simmer till sauce thickens
Add beef & mushrooms back to pan stirring to coat
Add thyme & simmer 5 minutes
