Salsa Fresca

Salsa has got to be the easiest recipe to make at home and there are a million variations! We love this recipe for Salsa Fresca because you can use canned or fresh tomatoes and its just as delicious either way. Not to mention it literally takes minutes to prepare and I bet you have all the ingredients on hand right now!

6 large tomatoes, diced
or 2 - 14 oz cans fire roasted tomatoes
1/2 red onion, diced
1 fresh jalapeño, stem removed and minced
1/3 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 large lime, juiced
1 tsp cumin
salt to taste

Toss to combine.

**NOTE** remove jalapeño seeds

to make it less spicy.
