Crispy Cinnamon Apples

I love apples all year round and I love cooking with apples. These Crispy Cinnamon Apples will really surprise you with the crispy, browned edges and soft pillowy insides. They are so delicious right out of the pan warm as a treat but especially amazing on grilled pork chops! You will be wishing you doubled this recipe!










INGREDIENTS

3 Pink Lady apples, peeled, cored and cubed
(or apple of your choice)
3 tblsp Cinnamon Ghee
(or 3 tblsp ghee plus 1 tsp cinnamon)
2 tblsp cashew flour or other almond
1/4 cup raisins, unsweetened
1/4 cup walnuts, chopped
pinch of salt

DIRECTIONS

Melt ghee in saute pan

Add apples and cook over medium high heat for a few minutes

Sprinkle with flour and salt

Cook till apples begin to crisp up tossing occasionally to be sure they aren't burning

Add walnuts and raisins and toss well

Enjoy!
