Who loves stuffed cabbage? Not my husband but he loves this Unstuffed Cabbage Roll!  We just won’t tell him it's the same thing! This recipe taste just like those delicious little cabbage rolls with so little work! It makes a nice sized batch and there are always leftovers which make a nice cozy lunch for during the week.

Ingredients
  

  • 10 cups Savoy Cabbage chopped rough (can use green cabbage)
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Onion diced
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 14 1/2 oz Diced Tomatoes
  • 15 oz Tomato Sauce
  • 12 oz Cauliflower Rice click for recipe, frozen
  • 1 Tbsp Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 Tbsp Tomato Paste
  • 1 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Oregano dried
  • 1 tsp Thyme dried
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika

Method
 

  1. Heat oil in a large sauté pan
  2. Cook beef till browned
  3. Add onions, garlic and spices
  4. Stirring constantly for a few minutes
  5. Add cabbage, tomatoes, sauce & balsamic stirring to combine
  6. Add tomato paste and cauliflower rice, stirring in
  7. Cover and simmer till cabbage begins to soften
  8. Uncover and cook till juice evaporates
  9. Serve and enjoy!
