Chocolate Almond Butter Bars (No Bake)

These 6 ingredient, Chocolate Almond Butter Bars (No Bake) are the perfect treat! Made with your choice of nut butter with the most delicious dairy free, refined sugar free dark chocolate topping that are ready in less than 30 minutes! My family loves this healthy sweet treat. They are delicious frozen too!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Almond Meal/Flour
  • 1/2 cup Almond Butter or nut butter of choice, see note
  • 1/4 cup Pure Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 cup Pecans chopped
  • 1 tsp Organic Coconut Oil
  • 1 cup Sugar-free, dairy free, Dark Chocolate Chips
  • 1 pinch Kosher Flaky Salt

Method
 

  1. Combine in a food processor, nut butter, maple syrup, pecans, coconut oil, process till crumbly
  2. In a bowl, mix flour with nut butter mixture, using hands to knead together
  3. Press mixture into an 8 X 8 pan for thinner bars or 5 X 8 for a little thicker bars
  4. Freeze 5-10 minutes
  5. Meanwhile, melt chocolate in microwave or over a double boiler
  6. Remove from freezer and pour chocolate over, spreading with spatula to cover
  7. Sprinkle with flaky salt
  8. Freeze for another 10-15 minutes
  9. Cut into desired sized bars
  10. Best kept refrigerated or frozen

Notes

A drier, less creamy nut butter works best.  I like Georgia Grinders.
