    Peach Vinaigrette

    Jump to Recipe Print Recipe

Peach Vinaigrette is sweet and tangy especially delicious during peach season. I like to serve this drizzled over an heirloom tomato and peach salad with fresh basil! Watch it disappear! If you enjoy homemade dressings like we do you may like this Orange Poppyseed Dressing too!

    Why You'll Love This Recipe

Homemade dressings are much healthier and take minutes to make. This peach vinaigrette dressing has 5 ingredients and is ready in 5 minutes and is a delightful addition to all of your salads.

    Ingredients You Will Need

Peach: is a fleshy fruit with a sweet, yellowish or whitish flesh and a thin fuzzy skin, and a single pit. Known as a stone fruit they are enjoyed fresh, cooked or canned. The use of peaches is key for creating a vibrant vinaigrette.

Extra virgin olive oil: stands out as an excellent choice for sautéing, adding richness and enhancing the natural flavors of foods. I love Garcia De La Cruz extra virgin olive oil.

White wine vinegar: is a type of vinegar produced from the fermentaion of white wine. It's known for its mild, fruity flavor and balance sweet and sour taste.

Salt: elevates the overall flavor of any dish. Always salt in moderation in accordance with your dietary preferences.

Medjool date syrup: provides a natural sweetness, and imparts a rich, caramel-like flavor, which beautifully complements a peach vinaigrette.

    Instructions

Combine all ingredients: in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.

    Enjoy!

    Recipe Tips and Tricks

If you do not have date syrup: use a fresh date, with the pit removed and chopped before blending. This substitutes well in the peach vinaigrette.

Choose large, ripe peaches: for a sweeter result.

    Recipe Variations

Avocado oil: is a great alternative to extra virgin olive oil.

Fresh basil: added to the blender adds a burst of herby flavor and can enhance the peach vinaigrette.

Red pepper flakes: can be added if you want a sweet-hot vinaigrette.

    Storage Tips

You can store this peach vinaigrette in the refrigerator for 7 days when placed in an airtight glass jar.

    FAQs About Peach Vinaigrette

What if put too much vinegar in my vinaigrette?

You can add more date syrup to balance out the vinegar. This adjustment keeps the peach vinaigrette perfectly balanced.

How do you know if homemade vinaigrette has gone bad?

If there is discoloration or an off-putting smell that is sour or rancid it is a clear indication that the vinaigrette has gone bad.
