    Why You'll Love This Recipe

Wings have always been my favorite at Thanksgiving and I decided there is no reason not to enjoy Buffalo Turkey Wings all year round and you shouldn't have to either. This recipe for Buffalo Turkey Wings is simple and has so few ingredients and packs a lot of protein for your family. Even more, Buffalo Turkey Wings deliver on flavor.

    Ingredients You Will Need

Turkey Wings: are a cut of meat from the turkey bird. Similar to chicken wings but much larger and having more meat. They are considered white meat, though they have a richer flavor than breast meat. I like Grass Roots Coop turkey wings and you can use PENNYP to save 15%.

Buffalo Sauce: is a hot sauce enhanced with ingredients to make it richer and smoother than regular hot sauce. Noble Made is hands down my favorite buffalo sauce and it's also dairy-free. I love that it is sugar free, whole30 approved and you get to choose your own heat level. You can use Pennysprimal15 to save 15%.

Ghee: incorporating ghee into this sauce adds a rich, nutty flavor. I love Fourth and Heart ghee and you can use Pennysprimal15 to save 15%.

Salt: elevates the overall flavor of any dish, especially enhancing Buffalo Turkey Wings. Always salt in moderation in accordance with your dietary preferences.

Avocado Oil Spray: has a neutral flavor that can be used for baking, high-heat cooking, sautéing and frying.

    Recipe Tips and Tricks

Ask the butcher: to separate the wing parts for you, making Buffalo Turkey Wings preparation much easier and saving time the day of cooking.

Save the wing tips: for making a delicious stock or bone broth!

If you are lucky enough to have leftovers: shred the Buffalo Turkey Wings meat and make one of my chicken salad recipes like this Herbed Chicken Salad.

    Recipe Variations

Red Hot Sauce: can be used instead of Noble Made buffalo sauce. I like Noble Made as you can choose your heat level as they have three! Mild, medium or hot.

Butter: can be swapped for the ghee if you are not concerned about keeping this Buffalo Turkey Wings recipe dairy free. Traditional butter gives a distinct taste to the dish.

    Storage Tips

You can store Buffalo Turkey Wings in the refrigerator 4-5 days when placed in an air-tight glass container, ensuring that they remain fresh and flavorful.

    FAQs About Buffalo Turkey Wings

Why are turkey wings so good?

Turkey wings are packed with a rich, juicy flavor and have a heartier texture than chicken wings. Many enthusiasts find Buffalo Turkey Wings particularly enjoyable due to their robust taste.

Why did my turkey wings come out tough?

Overcooking and undercooking your Buffalo Turkey Wings can result in a tougher wing.

Do you rinse turkey wings before cooking?

I do not recommend washing Buffalo Turkey Wings before cooking. In fact, this holds true for most raw meats and poultry. Research shows that you are actually spreading bacteria around the kitchen and not simply washing it down the drain.
